Dredges??? Teasers??? What do you guys Use???

Has anyone tried the Holographic 3-D stick baits for your teasers? I'm looking on Tournament Cable's website (which is really sweet!) and thinking about getting a offshore dredge this winter for next season. Just wanted some feedback on what other people use and what seems to raise the most fish. With the increadible Marlin bite we had this past season off of NJ, I think it might be time to look into one. More then likely I would bye the material and make my own. What do you guys use???

I pull the G-Tech Spreader Bar with Purple/Pink Squid from the outrigger pancake reel. It has the clear lexan and puts up quite a splash. Get alot of looks from under it! And it floats when the boats out of gear.

when i pull dredges they normally consist of all split tail mullet..

i think that the whites and other pelagics love the way they look.. i use two doubles one off of each corner of the spread...

also i have used a different kind but pulled for the first time one of the squidnation rasta squids chains from the riggers and they are unbelievable..

as far as dredges go i am all about natural baits on them.. although some people do use the gummys and also the holographics i will continue to use the dead baits until they are no longer available..

depending on how much time i have before a trip i normally, and i am ashamed to admit, just order them from baitmasters and they are ready to rumble.. i have rigged my own from time to time between turn around trips.. but sometimes it is just easier to order them..

3 years ago we had a small white come up and entangle himself in the dredge and we had to reel it in and release him which was funny..

i did not have to worry about replacing tons of strings of holographs after that one.. just threw on a new split tail mullet and off it went!!

whichever one you choose i think you will do just fine.. if you dont want to do natural dead baits i would go with one of the gummys instead of the holographic string ones.. just my opinion..

I second the Offshore Innovations dredges www.Offshore-innovations.com. They are the best on the market.

Go with the holographic fish. They look awesome and they work.

But under no circumstances should you attempt to drag anything in Maroon and Gold colors. They will spin your boat around because anything colored maroon and gold must be in front instead of behind your boat. Boston College is always in front of anything called the Fighting Irish....

at one point i was pulling a triple OI with Stripteasers mixed in and it was 25 feet over all ,,kind of a feat to deploy but once it was swimming nothing could compare

I remeber the first time launching it and with in 15 minutes we had a double on whitey's !!!!!
