    Dredge pulley system

Wasn't there a thread about this kind of recently? I looked for it but I guess not hard enough. I want to try running the dredge from riggers but could use a little advice. I think someone mentioned using a locking cleat as well? Thanks.

2-3 FT SHOT OF 4-500 LB MONO OR ROPE ATTACHED TO POINT-A ON YOUR RIGGER POLE...GOING TO A GOOD SIZE PULLEY WHEEL....INCH...MAYBE INCH AND A HALF WHEWEL..

YOU CAN ALSO GO TO MULTI[PLE SIDE BY SIDE WHEELS BUT THIS IS THE METHOD WHITEY HAS ON HIS RIG....

THIS IS THE PREFERRED WAY ....IT JUST HANGS WHILE YOU ARE BACKING DOWN...

What if I wanted to handline it rather than attach to a reel... what's the best way to attach that mono to rope. Finally, what's the best way to stop it? A jam/ cam cleat or something else ?
