Double hook wahoo rig questions

I have a bunch of questions if some of yall high speed wahoo gurus could help me out with.
When high speed trolling for wahoo how crucial is it to use double hook rigs instead of single?

Not sure how to explain this but it seems like my double hook rigs have the hook gaps and points both facing the same direction (ie: both up or both down) whereas I look at most other rigs and they are rigged one hook up and one hook down. Does this matter?

Also will a double hook rig cause a lure to spin inproperly or is it just the lure possibly going too fast?

Is single strand just as good as cable for connecting hooks to each other even if I am using cable up top?

Last question, the 49 strand cable yall use I believe is upwards of 400 lbs and seems huge to me. Is 270 suitable or is this too small??

Know this is a lot ot take in but any help would be much appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Not that crucial however, 0 degree double hook rig will be your better choice at high speeds.

0 degree vs. 180 degree...You will get a better Hoo hook up ratio at high speeds with a 0 degree hook rig.

If a high speed lure is rigged properly, your high speed lure will not spin..

Use cable for making your double hook rigs...I use 900lb cable and double heat shrink on all my 0 degree double hook rigs.

You can get away with the smaller cable for lure leader...However, I have seen failures on the smaller cable..with that being said...All my lures are rigged with 480lb cable.

Same to you...good luck

Well I think that about covers it!

Only side note, I use 480 cable for my stiff rigs, but I dont catch as many wahoo as Wahooking.
