Yeah thought so

i fish on our 23 grady most the time so its no stream boat by any means. Have done a little sail fisihng this year and had one in the teasers just wouldnt bite

Hopefully fishing on the Bite Me ill get some good practice

Good one Big "M", Warren often asks me if I look forward while I drive the boat. I must admit that I probably not as much as I should except when I'm in a crowd. From the bridge I see a lot and also miss a lot, but finding that dolphin, Sail or White before it gets a bait is where its at. Making the most of every bite is a must! Getting the bites you don't know is there is where the numbers game comes into play. The other day we were blessed with a triple header Sailfish. Why did we wind up with 3 instead of 1. Both of us were on our "A" game. Planer rod was tripped and the tip was being pulled forward and let go of...Warren slid a pitch bait down the line as he reeled in the plainer...hooked up Sailfish. Left short snaps and Sail # 2 is on...from the bridge I reel in the left long near the left short fish...stop and jerk the line 3 times...nothing...bring it in-between the 2 fish, stop and do the old twitch again and the 3rd is on. A little luck and skill and we land all three. Even if you don't see fish 2 or 3 if it is a Sail or a White remember what Marty said "THE WHITES TRAVEL IN WOLFPACKS" as well as the Sails. If there is 1 there is more than 1. Reel in or drop back "DO NOT LEAVE THE MARK." If you follow these simple rules and you and your crew keep your heads focused on the task at hand you will find more rags flying from your boat more often. Ok one more thing...same thing apply when you think you may have just had a billfish bite in the spread. Go and drop a pitch bait back to it...you just may be surprised at what happens next and you better get on your "A" game. If there is 1 there is more than 1.
