Hello All!!!! Finally got a chance to get on the internet here at my new camp in sunny Kulbus, Sudan. Spent the last 2 weeks training my new protection force from Senegal. My last group got smacked pretty hard by a Chadian rebel group on one of our patrols. Had to send a yound man home to Senegal to be buried and had 10 others wounded not to return to the bad lands. Tomorrow I'll take them on their first patrol escorting a supply convoy North to Tine, Sudan same place we were heading 2 weeks ago. The pucker factor is pretty high for these guys since they know what happened to their buddies. Canada donated 21 armored personnel carriers to the mission here, which will greatly enhance our capabilities trying to stop the genocide here. Thank god everyday you and your loved ones are in the good old US of A. This place is hell on earth, I'll post up some pics now that I've got real internet bandwidth. I'm also working on a video that I'll send to Marty to be posted. I was in a dark mood when I started it, so I'm making some changes.

I was just watching a show on the Sudan and it looked to be a real mess. Angry folks with automatic weapons... Not a good combination. Keep your head down over there! I hope that you remain safe. Keep us posted and we would love to see some pics. Stay away from the stick fights. I wish you the best. Be careful!
First let me say that I am honored to be writing you. I would like to say thank you, to you and all the brave men and woman that are over there in those places keeping our country free. I hope and pray that someday there will be no need for these types of actions that take our loved ones away from us. My friend, I will pray for you and all the others that lay their lives on the line day and night so that our children can grow up free, to live their lives in this great country of ours. Please remain safe and get back home as quick as you can.
Sea I cant say enough about what you guys do for this country. My hat is off to you and tippin the rigger to ya. Be safe and let the guys know we support em here at home and want ya back the way you left!!
