Hey Sea.....you keep it together and wear that protective wear....just keep thinking of those yellow fin showing-up here in a couple months and how good they going to taste off the grill.

Wow man, you did make the papers, and a lot of them. While I didn't see it here, it was all over the international press, with a good amount of political comments and concern. Sounds like things are pretty shakey over there, I read that this conflict has resulted in the largest number of displaced people anywhere in the world. There were quite a few comments about the instability there and it sounded like some of the peace-keeping missions pulled out in late Dec, early Jan. Maybe the political pressure that ambush sparked will deter some violence.

Here's some of what I learned
The United Nations estimates that 180,000 people have died in the conflict, mainly through famine and disease. Several million more have fled their homes.

Tensions have also been rising between the governments of Chad and Sudan. Chad accuses Sudanese militia of launching cross-border attacks and alleges Sudan is backing Chadian rebels, while Sudan accuses Chad of supporting rebels in Darfur.
Based on the map I saw it looks like you're running the Chad Sudan border. Keep your ass low...and your head lower.

Thanks for all you do there, somebody's got to keep this world on track and your efforts are appreciated here, and I suspect much more so by the people there.

P.S> If you have the option of riding in the back of that toyota or one of the armored carriers...take the armor
