Nice video as always. You can never predict these kinds of things. It pays to have a good tool kit and some mechanically inclined people aboard. I've been there myself, but never offshore. Must be a whole different feeling.

New Member-Great Forum
First let me introduce myself. I have a 23 foot sailfish center console and love to fish. My first mate is my 12 year old son. We have been boating for several years and I learn something new each time I go. Im very safety conscious and realize things happen without warning. After looking at the video, I realized its time to upgrade my tool box. My question for you and the others is..What do you carry offshore in these tool boxes besides the normal tools? Also would like to here of situations that happened at sea and lessons learned. Thanks

Wahoonbox great vid and topic !! I worked with a guy in the 80’s who reminds me of Sunshine. There was nothing he couldn’t fix or build from scratch with out a print. You ask him a question and Bam. He was walking and talking mechanical technical level headed smartest MF I ever met. Just knowing someone like that is with ya in the deep can put some people to sleep. LOL. Ahhh life is great. Thanks for some shweet tips guys. !! I hope I’m up for the task the next time I pass through those stone walls heading east.
