Cool Do you have a clue??

Matt-"JMS-ILM" and I went on an exploratory fishing trip and saw this guy in the Cape Fear River this afternoon. Should be an easy one for ya'll...
Some more picks to follow once ya'll are done guessing...

I have narrowed it down to three guesses.

A Bald Eagle would be my first guess because Ospreys are plentiful and who gives a damn if you saw a Turkey Buzzard.

BUT....after all that rambling, it's still far enough away to be a purple crested puffing pigeon and half of SFC wouldn't know the difference.

I'd guess Bald Eagle...

Thumbs up

Lee ---
Seen that guy, or one like him, twice in the last week in our little creek. An osprey took off chasing him the first time and couldn't begin to keep up ! Truly a magnificent sight ! Thanks for the great pics.
