First is they are our, ( North Carolina's) state fish...that's why I call them "Drum" not Redfish.

Fishing the inshore waters of Central Florida for the past few years, The Red Fish is a prize possession and an incredible Fish to catch and eat as well. How far north do they go? does anyone think thier range might keep expanding?

As far as eating them, I consider them fair at best. I feel the same way about grey trout, takem or leave em. Damn fun to catch though.
