Marty I would rather leave OC inlet at 3:30 AM in the dark, then to fight my way in line coming back in a 4:30. Some of those jerk offs really do try to move you out of the way with their Battle wagons, thats when old Capt. Dave goes to WOT and fights my way inline. They dont like it but what the hell they cant get run me over and I do need to get in the same inlet.

When I come into Hatteras or OI its nothing like that. You can ease inline without the fight, no WOT no having to push a 50' boat with a 26' seacat just to get home. I have been showed nothing but respect from the Capts in NC. I know that those kinds of Capt.s are everywhere but I like the southern gentleman that Captain the rigs in NC.

On Tangier Island in the Ches. Bay, watermen have an annual docking contest. It is a timed event and man do they fly. It is amazing to see these old deadrises, black smoke rolling, backing, turning and stopping on a dime.
