THEY WERE INTERVIEWING A TOUR BUS COMPANY OWNER IN NEW ORLEANS....THE OWNER OF TOUR COMPANY SAID HE USED TO HAVE 65 EMPLOYESS AND NOW HAD JUST REOPENED WITH ONLY 6

HE HAD MANAGED TO GET A COUPLE BUSES RUNNING SINCE KATRINA AND WAS NOW OFFERING TOURS FOR HIRE THROUGH RAVAGED NEW ORLEANS. HE ALSO SAID NO ONE COULD GET OUT OF THE BUS AND THAT THEY STAYED ON THE MAIN STREETS....THIS WAS NO PARTY BUS...NO SMILES HE SAID...JUST SAD FACES......HE AIMED TO SHOW THE WORLD EXACTLY WHAT WAS HAPPENING HERE ......

THE INTERVIEWER WAS TRYING TO CRUCIFY THE TOUR OWNER SAYING THAT HE WAS EXPLOITING THE KATRINA TRAGEDY FOR A PROFIT,.....

A PROFIT? YOU LAME BRAIN IDIOTIC SCUM SUCKING TWO FACED PROFITEERING REPORTER!!!!......ARE YOU NOT YOURSELF GETTING PAID BIG BUCKS BY ABC NEWS TO GET THIS PISS POOR INTERVIEW?? OR CAN WE EXPECT YOU DONATED YOUR WAGES TO JD's NEW CHARITY WITH THE STICKY ON IT?

The news channels have been irritating me all year. I've switched to Fox, where I find it a healthier perspective, but it's still often crap.

They (the news media) think they stand on some pedestal while they condemn everyone around them. And then we find out weeks later in a sub-title somewhere that half the facts were wrong.

Now, let's sit back and watch while ABC assembles a team of experts to
Expose something to the world that 1 of our troops may have done that was illegal, thus fueling riots that kill hundreds.
Tell the terrorists watching where we are most vulnerable.
Tell those that are thinking of becoming terrorists how wrong America is in everything it's doing, so they have the reasoning to become terrorists.
Then let loose how airport security works and how we gather intelligence information.
And cap the day by placing 50 cameras in the face of a man that just lost his family in a fire so they can get an interview.

Meanwhile, I wonder how the CoastGuard felt as they were risking their lives to pull a couple thousand people off roof-tops, and the reporters were saying nothing is being done, even fabricating stories of atrocities to make it sound worse? Or I wonder how the teams in the Iraq feel when they open another school and hear nothing good is happening in Iraq.

Perception is critical and affects terrorism, economies, public policy and even war. From the job our president does to whether America is good or bad, or whether people should go to mardi-gras, perception is what drives all of this and sadly, from Al-Jazeera to ABC, they're all painting perceptions that serve their interests, typically really hurt this country, and are a far stretch from the full reality.

Have you ever watched a Media report that you know something about? I work in the environmental industry, about a year ago watched a report of some problems going on (environmentally) in the local school district. They got all the facts wrong. And not wrong in a good way! The over-sensualized the issue by extorting the facts to meet their needs.

So my point is if they are screwing up the facts that I know something about, how can I rely on the so called facts on things I know nothing about!

WE DID 3-4 SWITCHES FROM SIDE TO SIDE WITH THE 130'S....AT ONE POINT WE HAD 3 WRAPS ON ONE MAINLINE CONNECTION AT THE LEADERS CRIMP....SHE WAS A SAWING AWAY!!! ...ALL I COULD DO WAS GO TO 85% FREESPOOL ON MY 130 AND HOPED THE BEST

I done that a couple of times...it's nerve wracking, but isn't it amazing how sometimes you can do so much wrong and have everything go perfect, and then when everything is going perfect something stupid happens...One time I was half a sleep when I laced up a 130# and I went in and out of the roller guide, to make a long story short the 500# hit that rod of course, and we had to cut the re tie it to another rod, crank up the drag and we go him, but then when you get a hit on a 11 super mutu and the fish takes off with 40+ lbs of drag and you fight it for ten minutes and you think man I got this one 220# seaguar to a super mutu circle, "Crank it up man he's done for...." the hook pulls...go figure The way I see it if it is meant to be it is meant to be...it's the same as bow hunting, when you get that deer in range, do I shoot now or do I let it come in closer....ahhhhhhhhh
