Pulled mine off the lift last night. To many storms spooled up right now to leave it on the lift.Good time to do some mid season matinance.....Mark

We don't get many that make it this far north but when we do they kick ass. i have rode out three big storms Bob, the no name "perfect" storm etc. with no damage. I will how ever make sure my canvas is unzipped and gets blown away Scotty.

even the tropical storms that come up the Chesapeake have done a ton of damage in years past. I have already put the contender on the hard and am headed down to get the little boat off the lift and batten down the river house

My plan is to pull the boat and drive anchors in the ground and spiderweb her. My marina has an authorization on file to pull my boat in any named storm and my insurance will pay up to $1000 to haul out, block and land anchor.

Hanna is not gonna be an issue anywhere really. A bad northeaster thats getting the slingshot effect up and out quick...
A couple more bumpers and lines and stay on the boat will my game for her.
Ike though has the crosshairs between my kitchen at Castle Deep and my living room at Castle Deep Keys... Missus is about over the top worrying about that one and after looking hard at it I would say Tuesday is gonna be a long day for her...
