Oh Box thanks for the kind words, it truly a pleasure running the boat with you in the pit. I have been very fortunate to have some fine pit crews in the Bite Me since I have been at the helm and yesterday was no exception..very well done, you made my job easy.
Now the culmination of yesterday has been a long time coming for me this year. I have had the Bite Me in the thick of it so many times not to have it happen...I mean fish jumping around the boat. Yesterday was no different. Dark 0615 I saw something break water beside the boat...must have been a wave...there it is again. 30 seconds later...was that a mark on the machine....turn the boat on it...nothing. Wait, there is a Gannet diving...turn the boat...hum, good bait mark. Dark 0629...snap planer rod goes off and its on . Crew goes to work clearing the lines and in less than a minuet were backing down and getting the fish under our control. This was a very cool way to see the sun rise as you see on the film. ROCK ON SFC...ROCK ON.
