    Digital camcorder recommendations

Ok so I am lookin at getting a Digital camcorder for this season on the boat and also to make some memories of my kids and family.

I am looking at something around the $500.00 range and HD if possible. I would like something that has the image stabilization feature that works well.

I am open to all sugestions so let me here them please.

    Thanks for the replies.

I have been researching this camcorder but have not gotten to the store to see it in person.

I recenrly purchased the canon Elf with a 16 gb card It's very nice and can take 3.5 hours of videos and 4000 pictures. I really like it I don't have to carry around 2 cameras anymore

My brother told me about this thing Pretty cool and compact and the thing takes amazing video. The HD models start at $229.00. I think it will hold close to an hour of video. It has a built in USB connex that flips out, and you just plug into your computer. Check out the website.
