DELETING PICS -SD CARD ?

ANY SUGGESTIONS? THIS IS WHAT I HAVE DONE SO FAR...AND THIS PROCEDURE ISN'T DELETING THE PICS FROM THE SD CARD ...

I RIGHT CLICK ON M WHERE THE CARD IS LOCATED


I THEN CLICK ON FORMAT AND THEN AFTERWARDS CLICK START


I THEN CLICK ON "QUICK FORMAT"


I THEN GET THIS MESSAGE AND CLICK "OK"


THEN I GET THIS MESSAGE.


WTH? .....WRITE PROTECTED? I NEVER PROTECTED ANYTHING HERE


ALL I WANT TO DO IS CLEAR THE SD CARDS TO ZERO AND THESE CARDS STILL HAVE THE PICS ON THEM

Check the card as they have a small slider that will protect the cards contents.

Try restore device defaults, then quick format. Sounds like something changed in the defaults.

Disconnect the card and plug it back in like you would to download pictures. Does the camara software load up? If it does, look for the toggle that says delete card after download.

Thats what happens on my canon.

ALL PROCEDURES FAILED...I TRIED EVERY COMBINATION LEE PLUS CHANGED POSITION OF THE TOGGLE SWITCH ON CARD...

THE CARDS STILL HAVE PICS AND I STILL GET THE WRITE PROTECTED WINDOW

THE PICS CAME FROM MY TRAIL CAM WHICH HAS NO IMMEDIATE UPLOAD SLOT

SO I MUST INSERT CARD INTO A PROVIDED SLOT ON MY COMPUTER

My best friend from college is on the prostaff for one of the major trailcam suppliers. He is on the show "The Bucks of Tecomate" and I sent him an email. I will post his reply with the process when I get it.

FOUND ME A NEW CARD SO I AM HEADING TO TARBORO TO WORK ON LEASE AND CHECK TRAIL CAMS

either the little lock tab on the sd card is in the "off" or wrong position or the card is fried. OR, he has placed the card in a hand held camera to view pictures and he has protected some images via his hand held camera. If that is the case, he needs to put the sd card back into the same hand held camera that he used to protect the images and "un protect" them
