I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE CARDS IN MY TRAIL CAMS THIS YEAR.......THEN ONE DAY I WAS IN WAL-MART AND POPPED ONE OF MY CARDS IN A KODAK PHOTO READER............

.........AFTER I VIEWED THEM......THERE WAS AN OPTION TO DELETE ALL PICTURES OFF THE CARD TO "REFRESH IT".....MAYBE WORTH GIVING IT A TRY DOWN YOUR NECK OF THE WOODS AS WELL.....I THINK MOST OF THE CARDS ARE UNIVERSAL AND ALL WAL-MARTS HAVE THE SAME KODAK PHOTO PROCESSING MACHINES THAT I CAN SEE.

HOPE THAT IT WORKS FOR YOU BRO.

Why not go into my computer, click on the SD card, go into the SD card's individual folders and just highlight and delete the pictures ........

That should do the trick - even if the camera has set a "read-only" attribute.

If that fails, I have some 1GB SD cards that I don't use anymore...yours for the asking.

Used to have the same problem with video card using windows xp.
Had to erase in the camera.
New computer has win 7 and formated the sd with no problem.
Sorry, this may not help but if you know anyone running win 7give it a shot.
If you are already using 7 disregard this post
Soon as the battery charges I'll see if it still records pics.

On a side note. XP stopped me from getting into a few things with a message that I did not have access.
Win 7 gives me that message sometimes but hit enter and access is granted.

Box I bet its an issue with the sliding lock mechanism on the card. I had the same issue I would unlock the slide with my finger and then when I pushed it into the reader it was pushing the slide lock back up. I unlocked it and then put a little piece of scotch tape over the slide and now it works fine.
