After seeing the vintage pic I thought I would share a few. I just got a scanner and yes kids there used to be film in them cameras. Had to take it to Ben Franklin's to get it developed but none the less you got your pictures.

THIS IS WHERE IT ALL STARTED AND STILL ROLLING:

Learned in the bucket.

The very fist issue of Sport Fishing Magazine. Turned to the back reading Tred first.

First boat with me as captain. No riggers but we still caught them.....

Learning to rig.

And the results!!!!!!!!

North to Alaska.

Slow fishing but still got dinner on rod and reel....

Hard to beat a mess of crappie.

Fishing SOLO it does'nt get any better.

Where are they now??????????????? We tore them up or caught nothing. At the time it really did not matter. These are the best days. Wish we still had them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well there it is. Glad I figured out the scanner thing. Friends come and go but the memories from these pictures will be with me always.

Yeah, they were the good old days....hey, who knows, better days may be a coming. Enjoyed the pics of the young/old Rhode Kill.

I think you may be going to far south to get bit. There are alot of fish here. Maybe bad year, off year or just right if ya live here. No giants to date but have heard of a boat or 2 getting spooled fishing 50 wides. We have very few serious fisherman that would try it in the winter but you know where I will be...............
