DAILY CARRY BLADE

i thought i had seen a post like this here. but i did a few searches and couldn't find it.

So let's see what you carry daily to handle your cutting needs.

Here is mine. It is a Kershaw, Ken Onion model. It has power assist opening.

I modified it to be easier to open by pressing a larger thumb stud on the existing one. It is a thumb screw off of a roofing hammer. the handle had to be modified some to let it open and close completly. but that hasn't affected its performance at all. The larger thumb stud makes it very fast.

you may notice a couple of other things. there is a notch neare the tip of the blade. i had put a new piece of sandpaper on the sanding wheel. it was just barely off center. so i turned it on and was going to just trim it off.......now i have a notch in the blade of my knife. it is not all bad. the notch makes quick work of opening those gosh awful hard plastic packaging that everything comes in now.

Also keep battery acid away from your black knife blades. it takes it off in about two seconds flat.
