    Dads with the kids

Mama went out of town for the weekend and left my daughter and I to fend for ourselves. Weather looked great so I called up Troy (Water Damage) to see how he looked for Saturday. In no time he called back and said he and his son were in. I’m not sure who was more excited me or the kids. We pushed off by 6 and had lines in the water by 7:30. Hours went by without even a look at our baits. We finally went up the beach and found a good weed line north of the NE corner and it was on. With the kids doing most of the reeling we were able to bring in half of what we hooked up. We ended the day with 9 Mahis and a King. Beautiful weather, box full of fish a few rubber band fights and a bunch of laughs. Another great trip, enjoyed it Troy thanks for the company and help.

As you can see from the pictures we worked-em hard Sorry Troy had to post it.

Now that's what I'm talking about.

The fathers and kids out fishing on a beautiful day. Catching fish and having a good time with each other.

Great report, pretty work on your fishing guys.

I love the picture of the girl sleeping on the bow of the boat. Too much

    Just right

Pretty work on the fishing and even better on your choice of crew.

My son has spent countless days on the water with me. He is all grown up now and I was listening to him this weekend at a family gathering as he recounted experiences he had on the boat/boats. It dawned on me that at the time I had no idea of what an imprint our time on the water had on him.

Sooner than you think you will know just how priceless times like these are.

John - enjoyed it as always man, Thanks again for the invite for me and Ty!! Hey, no problems with the pic of me "resting my eyes" on the ride in - I watch folks sleep in my bean bags all the time and I wanted to finally see what it was like!
The kids had a blast - Ty was excited as hell (like always) and was plenty tired that evening and the next day.

now we gotta find time to do it again!!

    Thanks
