This is my first post in ages it seems but I am back in the saddle again after a prolonged hiatus...I've been very busy designing some new lures and re-designing some old ones. Anyway....

With bluefin season quickly approaching, I thought I would start a little thread on crystal hair and color combinations. What is your favorite color combination?

I took this photo back in the spring on a very windy day and the sleeve has been pulled back exposing about 6" of the fibers. As you can see in the picture, the hairs are still standing tall.

I am anxiously awaiting the protoype of the newly re-designed Bullet Bait. This is the smallest trolling lure that we make and we are changing it's name to The Peanut. I will post pics as soon as I get it exactly right. We have had to change the construction material from brass to lead unfortunately. With the price of metals going sky high, we had to do that to keep from having to go out of the country for minimal savings. The new head will be heavier than the old one and will feature a small socket on the backside to allow for proper seating on the tip of a ballyhoo. We have also opened up the concave part of the front to allow for better cavitation and improve it's smoking action. It will still be chrome plated with powder paint finishes on top of that. Here is the old style to give you some point of reference.
