    Alright Spill The Bean's,

What's the spread look like? Cricket's or shiner's? J hook's or circle's? What color skirt's ya usin'? Black widow's or spinning rod's? I got a 17.5 ft BassTracker I bought just for paper mouth's, used to fish them alot (my favorite). Then I bought my bigger boat for offshore and the crappie rig hasn't left the shelter in year's. They sure are some good eater's and to catch them with some regularity (unless you happen to be fishing in an overstocked farm pond) takes some attention to detail. Good lookin fish there "grass hopper". Frank

Thanks guys, Lee can attest that I'm a saltwater guy at heart but since the camp is 4 hours away now and this pond is in my subdivision I have to get my fix one way or another.

Frank- I wish I could post a picture of my setup but I can't figure out how to get it off my camera.

    Steve,

Thanks for the picts. Those are some beaut crappies - nice, fat, big'uns. And from a pond near your house? A lucky man, indeed! I've always loved crappies since I first started catching them (we called them calico bass) when I was a kid. They have that neat kinda smell about them and they really are a pretty fish. Of course, great eating as well. Man, I'd love to sit down to a meal of them right now! Again, those are really nice ones.
