It came from the stomach of some sort of fish you caught in the pacific.

It's some sort of relative of the red crabs.

Spider crab. Very common in the north east.

I'll stick with Spider Crab - and suggest that you caught it in the Gulf.

Hey Mike, Looks like a spider crab that comes from the web of wettness. I've spent countless hours in pamlico sound and seen plenty of them. I could be mistaken but I would swear its the same one I saw crawling out of a womans shorts while she was sitting on a bar stool in lowland.

Definitly a spider crab.......the only time i catch these bastards is in the back water.....so i am guessing it came out of a drum.
