IT WAS GREAT TO GO AGAIN AND HAUL ICE DOWN TO THE RUN-OFF.....DANG GOOD....IT WAS GREAT TO SPEND TWO DAYS TWEAKING ...RIGGING....CLEANING THE RUNOFF...........FINALLLY MOTHER BLOW LEFT SOUTHERN OUTER BANX AND GAVE US A PRETTY DAY.....

AND DEATH FROM ABOVE WAS ON QUE TODAY......THE UPRIGHT TROLLER WAS CRUSHED BY THREE WAHOOS THAT ALL ACCEPTED THE STEEL....

THE WAHOOS SCALED IN AT 42LBS....55LBS.....65BS....AND A WEEHOO NUDGED THE NEEDLE @15 LBS


2 YELLOWBELLIES AROUND 60 EACH .....AND A FEW BLACKINS AND KINGS MIXED IN

I THINK WHAT REALLY ENGULFES MY MIND ABOUT TODAY WAS THE STRIKE ON THE DFA ROD WITH MY HAND ON THE REEL.....I MEAN BAMA-LAMA!!! LET ME ROCK YOUR WORLD BOX HE SAID!!!! BUT .....HE WAS THERE FOR 5 SECONDS THEN GONE!!!! MY HEART SANK...........AS I RETRIEVED THE PLANER BAIT I REACHED OVER TO PULL THE #16 OLD SALTY PLANER ONBOARD ....AND COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES....IT WAS CRUSHED....MY BRAND NEW DEATH PLOW WAS RUINED....PICTURES TO FOLLOW SOON......


MAKO? CUDA? WHO KNOWS!!!!!!! TEETH MARKS IN THE LEAD AND IT IS BEND IN HALF!!

ANYWAY.....WE DEPART TOMORROW AT 4:30 A.M. IN HOT PURSUIT OF SICKLE FINS ....

MAN IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK!!!!


MAKE UP TRIP THIS COMING THURSDAY MARCH 30TH ....200 CLAMS PER.....

is it just me or does it seem like the wahoos are thick as hell out there this year? i have heard two reports in the last week or so of double digit cutoffs on the tuna gear by slobber-roo wahoos.....

WOW!! Would love to see a pic of that planer. A big shark maybe? Makes me think of a quote from Mr. Robert Shaw, "he can't stay down with three barrels, not with three barrels he can't" if it was.

Nice work on the meat as well. You did not happen to take a left at the knuckle and head up to that hard break did ya? Just kidding
