    COOKING CHRISTMAS TREATS

    This year, with Mom not being able to get up and cook, I get to do it. Right now I am cooking party mix, the sausage balls were finishes before dinner, The other day was Crescent cookies covered with powered sugar, Date nut squares and Cranberry cookies. What you guys fixen for Treats?...

    Tollhouse cookies sound yummy. Think I am going to make a oyster casserole to go with the turkey. Right now, house smells like Garlic, onion and Celery powder and salt...10 more minuets

    Haven't gotten to the treats yet - Just finished smoking 3 turkeys for various family functions, and also smoked about 20 lbs of wahoo bellies.

    Haven't made homemade chex mix in years - but definitely one of my favorites

    Don't forget the lemon bars. For Christmas there will be buttermilk pie

    Thumbs up yes my family has a Sweet Tooth....

    cheatin this year.......pickin up 4 trays various cookies.....cannolis.....cream puffs and other Italian sweets from one of the best Italian Bakeries in the Wash/Balt area.....Vaccaro's.....


    also having cakes/brownies delivered by a bakery that has supplied all of DC from White House to top hotels.....Clement's....

    Peanut Butter cookies with a Hershey Kiss in the middle for dessert, honey/teryaki glazed chicken wings for appetizer, a large turkey (ooven roasted)with all the trimmings for dinner.

    Throw in a handle of Jim Beam/Coke to wash it all down and my 4 day weekend is about perfect.
