This thread will break the winter doldrums !!
We dont get the big boys on this coast and I have quite a few photos. My favorite YFTs are those that are caught by friends that have never caught a YF before. I really like seeing how they handle thier first one on a small boat. Earlier this year I took Tiggere (Johnathan) out for his first YFT. It was a great day on the water and ended the day with some nice fish for the trip. This is a 2 part video of one of them. This fish though not the biggest we ever caught wanted nothing to do with the boat. We didn't tell Johnathan about the Harness till he was broken down and handed over the rod!! To his credit it was a tough fish for his first Yf. For those that haven't seen these I hope these take the frost out of your winter!! Enjoy the videos.
Here's a few big ones I've caught over the years. First few pics are from Hawaii. The others are from TCI. All are over 90lbs. Just don't remember the exact weights.
I found it I thought it was in the 80 but it was apeil 24 1993 we were bottonfishing in the low 500s in 40 fat and they came up busting. We put a couple seawitches out and caught these two.Had the whole deal on vhs but my buddys wife taped over it with general hospital,Ive hated that show ever since.
