    thanks. that's why i'm gonna shoot at the dealer/range before i purchase.[/QUOTE]

Very true. Luckily, my grandfather is a Sheriff of a town here in SC, so I am able to shoot just about any model Glock. Also, was able to pick up the 26 for only $275. Not a bad deal!

    Nice!

I the law here ever changes I will buy a glock subcompact, or Sig-arms. Just dont know which caliber.

Bad news on the recent house bill here in MD. When I asked if the bill had a chance in making it out of the Judiciary Committee this is the response I got back from my delegate:

The chances are slim, honestly. The Chairman can and does allow the bill to die in committee without a vote.

    Constitutionally Yours,

    Del. Don Dwyer, Jr.
    Anne Arundel County
    District 31
    410-841-3047

    Del. Dwyer,

What are the chance of this bill really getting through this year. How is it that a select few can keep it from making it out of the Judiciary Committee ever time it is introduced? Are we the few in this state that feel this way or is it certain delegates that are personally against it?

For the record all three of my Delegates are for the bill and Del Dwyer is on the Judiciary Committee

Another vote for the Glock 27 (the small one)

I really believe this 40 to be ideal. a 45 wont kill them any deader and the 40 will give you two extra shots (if you need them).

I use the small magazine in it and can reach the 13 round if needed. A 3rd party ported barrel allows you too shoot cheap lead bullets to practice and allows quick followups.

I love my XD 40 right out the box shoot groups under 2" at 15yards and they have only gotten tighter as I've shot it more. I've never had any feed or extraction problems with it. I have not shot one of the XDm's so I can't comment on them. A buddy has an XD in 45 it shoots great too not as tight of grouping but more than adequate, but he has not play with loads to see what it likes like I have. I would take one over a Glock anyday nothing against them they are great guns but the XD is an improvement IMO.

They don't even let you have subcompacts down there? WTF? So you can't buy a glock 26/27 at a gun shop in MD.

    Hahaha,

No I was saying that I like my glock enough that I would look into the subcompact for a carry choice!

Aaahhhhhhh, yes I see. You never know with the dickbags making the laws in your state what kind of crazy laws you might have. The baby glocks are the way to go, really accurate too.

I can tell you why I do. In my business we take care of multi million dollar homes that are for the most part vacant during most of the year. We are listed as first responders when the alarm systems trip. We are always there before the police and I don't want to pull up to one of these homes bringing a knife to a gun fight. I also had someone try and break into my home while I was asleep. These are not people that are into negotiations. If they were to get in they would have to be carried out. There are too many nuts out there to not worry about protection.
