Also I have to disagree with Capt. kapoc's statement...so would most self defense instructors and very possibly the court system...you should be trying to retreat from the threat rather than advancing towards it...this eliminates any doubt should it go to court that you were looking for a fight and that you did everything possible to avoid the outcome that happened...

this is 110% correct your first course of action is to retreat from the threat, but then if retreat is not an option and you are in certain danger then you are in the right to use deadly force. it is to be the last option..

Para night hawk .45 12+1, sig 220 .45, para 12+1 .45, hk usp .40. Depends on the day. Hydra shocks are my choice of rounds in 230 grain. Yes getting the MD permit was a PITA, and renewals just got really really bad with the new govenor. the last renwal took over 6 months who do they think they are the Coast guard.

Ok lets try this again perhaps i worded this iccorectly. #1 I am military, we train in fire move and shoot I have also served in a police position which again is move and shoot to immoblilize your target. Now the average person will go from being "a pretty good shot" to somthing the size of a 12 gu blast when stressed. The point i was making (though worded poorly) that at a rapid rate of fire the 380 that I own has little or no kick there for allowing for a tight pattern and a subdued target.

Keep in mind when doing the "retreating move" if you trip, fall or otherwise are knocked off balance and discharge your weapon you are still responsable for you rounds wearever they land. So be awear of your target and what lies beyond it.

While were on the subject be VERY aware of each states laws concerning Lic CCW holders and the places that they can be carried or in what manner they may be carried IE: car Many states share reciprocal lic from other state but the laws governing them are not the same. A good site to look up these laws is http://www.carryconcealed.net and their recoprocity

And on a final note if you get pulled over even if the state your in doesn't require it notify the officer that you have a wepon asap at the least it will prevent anything rash happening at best he will be leanyant on you for being upfront and honest.

Berreta mod 71 .22lr I defy you to keep coming with 3 rounds of .22lr in the face even if you are on crack.
    No recoil accurate, works.
Are you looking for a main carry, concealed weapon or a backup out to dinner with the wife type weapon?
