Completely Meaningless Post

[KILLIN' TIME]

Well, sitting in the recliner, looking at the rain out the front door, the shop doors are up part of the way out the back door, and can see the Southport sitting in their begging me to take her fishing. This weather sux!!! I guess the good news is, I have gotten my decks woody waxed, (actually waiting on them to dry now), put it on between showers this morning. The hull and inside gel coat areas have all been waxed. The rails and t top have all been woody waxed. The new center rigger has been installed. New underwater lights installed. Redid some things on the outriggers. 4 electric reel plugs installed. The list goes on. He!!, I even got the Loran off the Sailfish installed on the SP now after 9 months. I am running out of ideas of things I need to either do, or get done. Forgot I spooled all the Tyrnos' 30's up with momoi night before last. Tied new leader rigs earlier in the week. I swear, this weather is driving my crazy, and as you can see by this completely meaningless post, I am bored as crap. Heck, rmayo next door has not even made any movement this morning. Even the kids are still running around in their pajama's at 11:00 in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOMEBODY SLAP ME PLEASE, I THINK I MAY BE INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS WEEK I HAVE REALLY THOUGHT ABOUT THE CAPTAINS AND CREWS WHO HAVE LOST MANY MANY CHARTER$.....WEEK AFTER WEEK....BLOW AFTER BLOW HAS NAILED US TO THE DOCK...........APRIL IS A BIG MONTH IN NC......HERE WE ARE ALREADY ON DAY 5 OF APRIL AND ZERO TRIPS HAVE BEEN RUN....MARCH HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD TO ME AND I HAVE BUT ONE YFT IN MY FREEZER

COULD THIS BE ANOTHER WAY OF MOTHER NATURE....POSSIBLY BALANCING THINGS OUT? .............WOW...IT JUST THUNDERED ONE TIME KABOOOM HERE AT THE CRIB AND THE BOTTOM JUST FELL OUT ONCE AGAIN FOR THE UMPTEENTH TIME THIS WEEK!


THE BALANCE OF NATURE....MMMM..........JUST THINK ABOUT HOW MANY FISH HAVE FATTENED UP...AND HAVE MOVED ON FARTHER NORTH IN 2KNOT CURRENT.....I BET IT IS SAFE TO SAY THAT THE DMZ NORTH WILL SEE RECORD SIZE YFT AND WAHOOS THIS YEAR!

I BET IT IS SAFE TO SAY THAT RIPTIDE CHARTERS, SHOEFISH, TROLLMAN, SEEKER AND THIN BLUE LINE WILL CATCH MORE THAN THEIR FAIR SHARE OF THESE MIGRATING CAROLINA SURVIVORS

And here I am sitting in Orlando looking at Tarpon, Drum and Snook right off the balcony......... but will probably get arrested if I toss anything with a hook at them. Owen has already offered to send me bail money for video of me catching one of these tarpon out of the middle of the hotel!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear if the wind does not stop blowing soon I am going to have to put the lines out in the yard and just have someone spray me with the water hose to get and idea of what I am missing. It seems like I am spending more money sitting and waiting, ordered 2 new Tiagra 30lwrs, 2 tyrnos 30s, 2 more torium 20s for our tournament gear, more tlds, and rods for them all, then I ordered a new 4kw radar spent cpl weekends installing it, tied king mack rigs, made hoo rigs, came up with new secret invention for tournament, made up 80 chum bottles for king mack fishing, turned office into tackle room and literally threw away ever computer in the house,spooled reels, ordered a new drive way to be poured, and had wind damage so will be getting a new roof. DAYUM, now that I type it it is WOW. SOMEONE PLEASE TURN THE FAN OFF. I am about to go broke sitting here. LOL

Heck B, it has been blowing so hard, they have issued small craft advisories for the pond. Seriously though, it is an inconvenient PIA for me, but I do feel for you boys doing it for a living. You have heard me say more then once I would give me spot up in the sound or river for you boys doing it for a living. I love to fish, but not dependent on it as much as you are all.

I think, Jere, Gene and me may hit the washer machine tomorrow. I will give you a call and let you know if the babies are there or not.

Hey fellas just as soon as Gottafly Lee,George and myself get started on the roanoke for a month ,the wind is going to die and the tuners are going to bite.The old saying use to be "THERE ARE TO MANY PRETTY DAYS TO FISH ON ROUGH DAYS'' Iam starting to wonder about that one.

Looked out of the kitchen door this afternoon in Oriental and thought that my boat and trailer looked funny. It was raining so hard that with both of the plugs out, boat filled up so fast that lifting wheel was off the ground and back of boat was on the ground and water was comming over the transom...
Bet we find out that a few boats sunk with this rain.
