Coffee crop 2010/2011

Well, finally this year I decide to be SOLO in the business. The Idea is to work with the owner of the farms and to get the best if it. I start with just 2 farms and yesterday I was managing 14 and going up.
I have been hunting for excellent coffees in different parts of the country, so soon I will be cupping them.
So soon coffee will arrive up north…..

This year it was so expensive to send coffee to the US( by ups or FedEx). The national mail were bitching for everything ( not in the US) here. They say it was against the US law to send roasted coffee, due to was a seed.
This year it will be different( I hope)
Ill try to send a couple of pounds to Mr Box, just to try the mail. If it works will be ok, if not Ill ask some friends that are flying to the Us to take them with them them send them by mail.
No problema.
Don’t worry we are just starting the crop so It will be enough coffee for all…

A cupper is the one how determine the quality and the use( preparation) of the coffee (flavors, defects, acidity levels, sweetness, body)
Each coffee has its own flavor depending on altitude, variety, soil, precipitation, ripeness.
