That seed is really common down here, its called deer eye. Many people used them to do necklace. We used it as ammunition with the slingshots. Also if you rub it in concrete it will get really hot.

we call those donkey eyes at home and if you rub it against a concrete wall or the like you can then burn your friends with the black strip pretty fun when i was younger.
