Clueless Custom Lure

Well SFC fans - the old workbeast caused me to fall off the map for awhile and I've missed y'all. So, let me be sure and catch up briefly before submitting my "you make it, I'll fish it" lure to Marty's World.

1. For Slippery Biscuit, Inc. - Ditto, Ditto, Nice Drum, and Ditto.

2. For Holwatchagot - Matt's gonna be ill when he finds out you've been robbing his pet mud minnow stash.

3. For my bud J - aka L'il Biscuit - Any drum is great. Old drum are sublime. You have no idea how lucky you are. Well Done!!

4. For Capt Lee - Birdshot for rude purveyors of northern aggression, rock salt for the casual trespasser, coffee for the merely lost, and coffee with a blessing for the truly lost.

5. BOX! Say it ain't so - no matter how far north of Texas el cribo is, you ain't no Yankee.

6. For the Communist sympathizers - NO PIPING PLOVERS WERE HARMED (OR EVEN SIGHTED) DURING THE POSTING OF THIS MESSAGE.

7. For Slip-Slidin - Nick and I saw a Manatee coming in the entrance to Inlet Watch last year. I wonder if she's the same one. Great Pix!

8. Nauti - congrats on 1000 posts. Now stop by Chez K in Chatham County on your way to the brine - and let's start making those videos!

Great fishing lures catch fishermen first and fish second. That said - here is my entry for home made lure. I mailed it to Marty 2 weeks ago - and I guess the weather must be bad cause I expected to see video with Wahoo blood galore by now. He promised to fish it - so until he does, here's a teaser of the critical fish attracting part:

Nice Matt! You know I was trying to tie it to the board. See HOO solves it. I'm there Sun-Wed - come on! Hoping to thin a doe and a cow horn in the morning for the grill.

Peno - Pink Cooler? Who has a pink cooler?

Dang Box - you got me laughing so hard I can't breath.
Call it anything you want (sorry company had to witness you opening it) but it makes perfect sense. The colors are right, things are bound to skip like hell on the water, and like Matt said - if you coulda seen that big Hoo bite the Croc SeaBiscuit was wearing last year - you'd figure they must love 'em. I mean that fish was caught and gaffed and he chomped that shoe like it was his last meal. No credit for quality materials and rigging? Geez.

Nauti - just past Jordan Lake bridge on NC751 (Southpoint exit)

Nice Guess Avenger!! You must have a pair? Those black rivets look just like baitfish eyes to a 'hoo.

Here it is gents - to paraphrase the late great Doc Holiday - a real Daisy of a daisy chain....

The

Carolina
Redneck
Offshore
Chain

(I need to get my redneck arse out of the house...)
