I went to the Appomattox River here in Petersburg Va after work yesterday with one of my buddies. He stopped by and said he had two rods and did I have the time. In 20 minutes we caught 10 or 12 Hickor Shad and American Shad on Ultra light tackle. What a blast! Then I caught a stiff back and we didn't catch another thing for 20 minutes so we called it success and got out there as the five-o-clock crowd was rolling in.

I got my rod today and I'm going at lunch
