I haven't seen any cougars but we have quite a few deer and a lot of foxes. found a den in the dune next door last year. I really wanted to drive a steel spike into it and kill it but i was afraid my neighbor would squeel on me.

where is the animal rights activist squealing for the foxes??? They got to eat to, why are we taking their food away? wasn't it natural 5000 years ago for them to eat turtle eggs?? why are people messing with the natural food chain? changing things around?

I really could give a rip either way but I just think its hilarious that people can save turtles and hate foxes for doing what God intended them to do in the beginning. If the turtle population is low, don't blame the fox, take out the long liners and gill netters.

I thought I would update my clueless. The 60 days will be up later this week so the turtle people have prepared the runway for the turtles. I checked the nest the last 3 nights around 11 pm since the nest watchers usually go in about 9:30 if there is no indication of hatching. This is nest 3 and last week nest 23 was laid about 10 yards from this one.

Nothing like man interfering with nature, I bet the eagles look for the landing strip as well. Don't make it too obvious.. Where's the cougars that hunt them as well?
