Just a short report for those that fish around the Albemarle Sound and Chowan river.
I took the weekend off from fishing Offshore due to the weather and a break from the tree stand because of the heat and headed to my dad's for the weekend. He is not getting any younger and has had three operations over the this summer. This trip was a little different because my sister joined her son and myself for a little fishing. Normally it is just Marshall my dad and myself. We only had one day to try and get on the fish and it was a little difficult but after a hour or so of prospecting I located a school on the sounder and it was on. We were catch and release fishing and ended the day releasing 15 or so Stripers about one mile from my dads house on the Chowan. It was a good day on the water and everyone had a great time. To top off the trip my dad handed my nephew the keys to his old Toyota for his 16th B-Day. He has been saving the car for him for the past 6 years.Enjoy the photos....Mark
