Chased the sails inshore Saturday....chased being the keyword

A little sporty out there Saturday. Marked plenty of bait on the usual spots. Had a good spread going even with circle hook rigs that looked "just right" and swam their little hearts out. It was all for not though. Not even a sniff. Sure was nice to get out on the water. Been too long (2 weeks ) Water was not very pretty with the chop, nicest water I found was 81 degrees with 79 right up against it. Oh well, maybe a bit too early but it was still fun to get out. Going to keep at it until it is time to get in the river and from what I am hearing about the Tarpon and the old drum mixed in that might very soon.

Bryan, I bet it was a little sporty in the big blue......the sound was a little sporty as well but O3's Southport ate it up nicely.

I am quite sure we will see you in the river soon enough
