    circle hooks

    I realy like circle hooks for most fishing here in SC but the new rule concerning sheepshead doesn't make sense.
    Fishing sheepshead drops here means fiddlercrabs almost exclusively.
    Sheepshead don't grab a bait and turn with it. They crush and suck it off and when you feel the bite it's too late. You have to realy be tuned to catching the bandit "before he bites".
    I don't see how you catch one with a circle hook.
    The new rule has to do with gut hooking fish.
    Who has ever seen a sheepshead gut hooked?
