CHALLENGE, PLASTIC VS MEAT

Hey Marty

About a year ago a challenge was in the making with you and Ancient Mariner. You each get one half the boat meat against plastic. Are you two ready to put it on the line. You started something on the other thread, sounds like alot of folks would be interested in the challenge.

"ON THE STARBOARD SIDE PULLING NOTHING BUT MEAT, DRESSED AND NAKED, THE ONE THE ONLY WAAAAHOOOONBOX!!!!!!". " ON THE PORT SIDE, THE OLD MAN OF THE SEA, PLASTIC HIS WEAPON OF CHOICE, THE ONE THE ONLY, AAANCIEENT MARINER"!!!!!

Gentlemen, shake hands over the fighting chair and man the best bait win. I'd pay to ride along on this challenge.

You would have to agree on a specific speed. Because some plastic works better at higher speeds and some naked meat works better at slower speeds. this may skew the outcome unless a specific speed is decided upon so the contestents could taylor their spread to the noted speed. You could televise this episode and call it IRON BAITER ( after IRON CHEF for all you cooking aficionados). Hell - You could even have translaters like they do on the cooking show. Sometimes Marty gets so excited you would need a translator. " DAR E IS BEAST - ON DA LEF LOUNG - GEEZUS H THRIST did ya see da siz o dat bitch. Translation - A fish is approaching the left outrigger - My it looks like a large one.

Not sure how well the plastic and meat side by side would go... Me thinks each would have to sacrafic too much fishing off the same boat to be as effective as they could be... Two boats fishing inside the same area... Define a series of grids... Both boats would have to be fishing inside the same grid... Rigger to rigger... Who's it gonna be.. Silver sides flashin in the wake of one, colors and bubbles galore in the wake of the other....

It would have to be held in Va... The ancient one would have to travel south out of his home waters and Mr. "Welcome to my World" would role north of the ill begotten DMZ... Two fierce competitors in a fresh ring.....
A skipper on the bridge... One man in the pit... Let the tuna scales fall where they may...

Now thats a contest I would like to see...

Aloha

If yer aloud to throw rocks at the fish on the "wrong" side of the boat, I think the size of the rocks and maybe even the number of rocks, should be controlled.
