Not realy. We have this little 11'X16' water garden in the back yard where the boys feed there pet largemouth, crappie and bluegill. This being the first year we decided not to winter them over and take them to the farm pond nearby. Well the weather turned this weekend with snow and freezing temps so the move didn't happen. The boys wanted to use barbless circle hooks to remove them instead of a net to prevent upsetting them to much. When I got in from my 36 hours of pushing snow the boys tackle me at the door with the energy of 3 boys (7, 10 & 12) having 27" of snow outside the week of Christmas explaning how they went ice fishing. Very high energy level here! Anyway seems they took a hand line to practice targeting a crappie for a fish removal test. Only problem was 10 seconds into the test one of the 3-4 #rs crabbed the bait and the battle was on. Now remember this is a 3# fish handlined through a hole in the ice on a 11'X16' pond in the backyard. The catch was a surprise for the test and as soon as we can get to the farm pond we well relocate our backyard population for the winter.
