    Carpenter Bee help?

Since the warm up I have been battling the carpenter bees chewing on the deck and front porch. I've tried wasp spray and everything else to keep them away to no avail. Today I entertained the wife by using my best Jedi moves and the badmitten racket to slay 15 They must have a army around the corner as they keep coming in waves.

Several people have told me to use a blue tinted weather sealer to repel them but haven't the $$$ to get enough gallons to do both. Any remedies or ideas as the lightmitten is getting dinged up on 6x6's, hanging baskets and potted plants

Interested as well. They are overcoming the exterior of my house as well. They love the brick mold. I do appreciate how symmetrical they make their holes though

I noticed one buzzing around my nether regions when using my outdoor shower last week, saw the sawdust on the floor afterwards. So I too would be interested in getting the little fellows out of my shower, talk about a quick shower...

I have yet to see a solution to fix them for good. I have been slapping them with my hand lately, then stomping them to a painless end. I used tennis rackets in the past and have really "aced" a few. It was the most effective way I have seen so far....

    Did a little google search.
    Look up
Drione dust.to kill em in the nest.
Cypermethrin concentrate for general sparying to
    keep them away.
Dont know first hand if this stuff works but might be worth a shot.

    Good luck.

My dog spends hours stalking them and then eating them. He then comes in the house and barfs them on the carpet. I am willing to rent him out, but only after he lays on your caret for an hour or so!!

GAFFING THEM MAY BE ONE OPTION, ....BUT I WOOD RECOMMEND A CUSTOM HEAD...VERY SMALL ONE.....WITH A 5/8" GAP....WIRING GLOVES OPTIONAL.
