Carolina Gas Prices
With IKE hitting Texas, our gas has gone from $3.41 a gallon yesterday to $5.01 at the same station today. This sucks!!! I wonder how long it will take to come back down?

The worst part of it is those tanks have the same gas in it as it did when it was $3.41. I myself remember those that screw you on the way up because I WILL NOT patronize those same stations ever again, I just wish that we could all do that!

The Wilco/Hess/Trade Mart stations in the New Bern area stayed stable all day and will certainly get my business and recommendations to others as well. The local Shell and Chevron stations owned by the same group in New Bern went up close to $1.00/gallon by lunchtime apparently. NOT COOL.

As frustrating as it is I am not sure that most stations have as much control over the price as most of us think.... let me explain... My company orders roughly 6500 gallons of diesel for our truck fleet per week straight from fuel depots in baltimore harbor. I place an order today for monday and they informed me that the speculators price had shot up 1.50 for gas
and .60 for diesel We are rolling the dice that it will come back down monday afternoon and we can make it till tuesday for our delivery but its a gamble. The price at these depots update 2 times per day!!!!!! and this is where the gas stations get there fuel from so you can imagine their frustration as well....... Something needs to be done with these "speculators" whoever "they" are before they ruin whats left of our economy. just my rant for the night.

Plain and simple we are getting fucked royally. This may be an even bigger crock of shit than the oil price boom. Hey i heard the hogs might get cold at murphy farms this winter so i guess the price of BBQ will go up tommorrow to be on the safe side. This is such a crock of shit. Oh i got a solution for the SPECULATORS it involves large men 2x4's and lots of nails sticking out of them so find em and let the beatings begin I'M IN and good for nails and 2x4's and 6 ft 235 lbs of board swinging ass.
