CarlyII hit Atlantis 7/6-7/7 and put together a good catch of 40-60# YFT and some nice MAHI. We went 13 for 15 I believe on the yellowbellies.

Capt. Jay Morris put us on the fish and the crew did some damage. My good friend John from Madison, George is also on the site ( he loves to stick em with the steel as you will see.) Steve Radon, Mike, Andrew and yours truly.

We got the majority of the fish on baitmasters hoo which was perfect quality and some on spreader bars. We tried some new plastic lures that were given to us to try but was a little disappointed in them. Maybe they will send us some more as they have come out with some really nice looking stuff and I think the stuff we got had been lying around for a while.

What port were you fishing out of and how long was the ride out?

CarlyII is out of New London, CT. half hour to Montauk for fuel ice and bait then about a 3hr ride to get lines in. It was flat azz calm. Best sea conditions I ever had offshore. Very pleasent trip with a great Capt. and crew.

Box, it's because we are the Friday the 13th kind of guys.
This is how we get out our frustrations at the man. Definatly not professionals. We didn't loose any at the boat believe it or not. The 2 we lost broke off at the strike. Not sure what happened there. Probably line failure due to a kink or something.

Killer video.....one hand the initial swing and you will miss alot less.....the ole boxster has probabaly gaffed more fish than I have ever caught....but I am surgical with the steel
