Red Drum to Sailfish for the summer
We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
and all are different colors....but
they all exist very nicely in the same box.

Without a doubt one of the most fun tournaments of the year and fair with its close boundaries so the small boats can compete with the big guys. The forecast looks great. Can't wait!

Lee,
How has the sailfish bite been at WB?

I have been out of town most weekends and not fished at all this summer.

I think we are going to fish the tournament. Hope you are feeling better.

Thanks.

I am in - will be docked at the Bridge Tender for the tournament.
Rigging the dinks we have a handle on, I just hope the crew can give up the old J hook habbits when the pressure is on
There is lots of good info and videos on this site on circle rigging - have a look around.
I am taking a bucket of ice water up on the bridge and the first one to "set the hook" is gonna get a shower.

Good luck to all!

If the weather holds, from the calls I've been getting I think over 50 boats will enter, maybe even more...of corse, I'll be fishing in it, rain or shine...
