Capt. Lee, Need some of your mirro expertise...

well, i think i found some older mirros, based on the package, and i havnt seen the one before, but i have seen the shad type bodys before, and used with good success.

im wondering on this lil gem, they seemed to be in the older packages, and are smaller then a catch2k, im just wondering if these are in production anymore? if not, im defintately going back tomorrow and pickin the rest off the back shelf

Oh Jesse, those MirrOlures are not much good but I will be glad to take them off your hands so they don't take so much room up on your box...

The 38MR that you have, is one that is no longer in production. If I remember right, they were made in a sinking and suspending models and the ones you have are sinking. The colors you have are the "22" and "23". The modern day replacement closest to it would be the S38MR ( "S" meaning SeriesIII) and has 2 points in which to tie your line to your Lure one on the nose and one on the top of the head like a 52M.

Close to that size wise is the 32m which is the Scaled Sardine or the Catch 2000 (which is one of my favorites)

The lures you have are older MirrOlures but not that old, the eyes give it away. The "old" MirrOlures will have glass or amber eyes. When you find one of them, you have a true antique MirrOlure and worth there weight in gold to me in my box. I have seen Trout hit the amber eye MirrOlures when they would not hit the red ones so they hold a special place in my box so to speak.
The 38MR's that you have are great and worth their weight and what you paid for them. The color, "22" (& "23") you have is one of my favorites in stained or cloudy water. The "R" stands for rattle and the smaller size will be good when the colder water has smaller baits around but the bigger baits are gone. Best worked in slower currents and shallower depths.
While your at it, wipe out a couple for me...
