Headed out to Far east tanker on friday hoping to find some wahoo. Put lines in at 8:00 and had our first king on at 8:01! finished limit at 8:45. No wahoos but the groupers were hungry and liked our chunks of false albacore. we had six gags in the boat by 10:00. there were schools of AJs busting on the surface. Water temp was 74 F. In core sound the water was 51 and and 61 at the bight, Hopefully the GBFT will show up soon...
My little brother caught the bigest king of the day while casting a sting silver to a school of albies. He had no leader and 12 lbs test.Patrick had fun with that one!!
Saturday, we looked for ducks from Marshallberg to Stacy. We only saw 1 merganser.
