MERRY MARLIN, WE WERE IN THE 25 PARKER BOTTOM FISHING WITH YOU GUYS. DID YOU CATCH YOUR GROUPER AT THE SAME SPOT WE WERE FISHING? JUST CURIOUS I AM NEW TO THE BOTTEM FISHING THAT WAS MY FIRST TIME TO TRY JIGGING AND WOULD LOVE TO TRY IT MORE OFTEN THANKS FOR THE GREAT REPORT AND PHOTOS

Those types of grouper usually get picked off rocks @ the shelf. The spot where you were is the reef donkey stop!

Nice report, I can't wait to get out and do some fishing, no matter what kind it is. Only a couple more weeks until up here in the NE things really start to take off. Looks like a very fun day out on the water.

Whats up with the boat, something break or just some maintance needed to be done?

There is a crack all along the right bunk and the electrical panel board. Parker says they've never seen that and will repair it no questions asked. There is no structure issue.

real nice mess of fish. A couple questions, are the african pomps good eating? we've never caught one. What kind/size of spinning reel were you jigging with?

it is wone of the best tasting fish you will eat. very mild
