Guys....My name is Jeff Smith and I hold the keys to the Flyfishsaltwaters.com site.
I'd like to apologize for the behavour of some of the members. I am not sure why Box was treated with such disrespect over there. For the record, I welcomed him each and everytime he posted. I'm a transplant up here from the good state of ARIZONA and I can tell you that dealing with Yankee personality has been one of the hardest things I have ever encountered! That's not to say that everybody up here is an asshole because they are not.
It is true that I have some troublesome members and FWIW, some of those troublesome members appear to be coming to your seminar....They seem to lead a dual life, making trouble where they can and keeping their mouths shut when they know they can't. Maybe they will learn some good southern hospitality as well!...Man I hope so....
For those of you that tried to register for my site and were denied I have no idea what's up with that. The last few months we have had a TON of SPAMMERS signing up selling pills, snake oil, etc....So to curb this trend we have to *OK* each new prospective member. My webmaster I believe emails everyone who attempts to sign up with a few questions.....If she doesnt hear back then your not gonna get on the boards.
This thread on your GREAT BOARD btw has opened my eyes to how others view FFSW.com. I thank you for that.
Anyway, my point of this post was to apologize for any disrespectful behavour your members might of encountered on Flyfishsaltwaters.com
I for one would love to come to the rigging seminar but cannot make it at this time. I wish you all a great event and Box if you decide to tour the *outer cape* The real cape cod, let me know and I will be your tour guide for the day and would be honored to do so...
