Build a box for me!
OK. Fairly new to offshore fishing. I have been many times with others, but now I am setting up my own boat and getting ready to head out! I live in East Central Florida so I will mainly be heading out of Port Canaveral and Sebastian. I am set on Rods and reels. Plan on doing a lot of trolling. Please post suggestions to build my tackle box. I need suggestions on everything from hook size and brands to artificials to sinkers and other terminal tackle. Also, looking for the " Don't leave home with out.......in your tackle box" All suggestions are welcome! Especially interested in brands everyone uses and why.

I think Admin is going to let me have this space
Welcome aboard Roger. One of the first places you should check out is the store here on Sportfishermen.com There are alot of the advertisers on this site whose products are listed there and some advertisers like Jim with eastern tackle has links in the jigging section to his website for jigs. I think if you would be a little more specific as to what you will be fishing for more members would chime in with advice. I mostly king mackerel fish and make my own rigs but I do like to bluewater fish so I have started getting some of Squidnations stuff to add to my tackle for the times we may go offshore to the stream. There are alot of good videos on rigging on here as well.
