    Bug Invasion-CLUELESS

A couple of times a year the outside of my office is invaded with thousands of these bugs. I have never seen them anywhere else around here. In the spring and fall they like the warmth of the brick. Anybody got a clue as to what they are? They are around 1/4 in in length.

They would be black bugs with red stripes, I have them at my house too. Cannot remember the name. They are a PITA.

    ITS A MARTY BUG

I went to bugguide.net and found out it is a Eastern Boxelder.
Kinda ironic that I posted it in Box's world. I guess he can claim it as his namesake bug.

Don't have a clue what they are but a house that I designed some renovations on gets covered with them.

This is a 150+ yo house that is surrounded by 30 to 40 yo ones that get none. It's strange & they don't seem to do any damage but good luck selling the house on the days that there on it.

    Cool Got em here too

Looks like these critters are wide spread. We get in afternoon sun on Brick front and these things are all over.
Guests visiting tend to get the creeps.

As a builder, we get blamed for just about everything including Bugs.

Ladybugs seem to have this Spring and Fall activity and seem to come from nowhere. Rumor has it that Ladybugs were imorted to get rid of gypsy moths
