Brunswick County BFT Report
Well guys, the tuna bite finally fired off today down this way. There were app. 20-25 boats fishing, with 11 or 12 fish killed that I know of. Capt. John(QB)Quattelbaum and I lucked up and killed 2 today, an 81" that cored at 251, and a butter ball 74" that cored at 212. Our first hook-up came at 9:00, along with several other boats hooked up as well. Our second bite came at 11:00. It's always great when you can catch giants in your back yard. Unfortunately, it looks like it's going to blow for a couple of days, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that the fish will still be here when the wind lays again. I left the camera on the boat, but will post pics tommorow. Congratulations to every one here and in MHC that killed fish today.

If Ignorance is bliss, Why aren't more people happy?

The bite was SE of the knuckle around 4 or 5 miles toward the old position buoy.

AND WE FISHED LATE!

Thanks everyone. We are tickled to death, and hoping for more fish in Jan.

One thing I forgot to mention. This fish hit, what else, one of Capt. Joe Shute's lures. Man, I am a firm believer. That's 3 fish I've had a hand in killing this year, and all came on a Fish Finder lure. If you're not pulling them, I suggest you go by and pick some up.
