Braided line for downriggers

Actually fished with a scotty downrigger rep. last spring in a tournement and his recommendation was the 200# powerpro for riggers that is what the factory also recommends. I like gotta flys technic also except I just clip a clasp into the swivel attached to a piece of 100# mono but I like my mono longer like 6 foot to my clip release this way if you pick up a small trash fish and your clip does not release it usually will bounce your rod at least and you can tell something is hooked up and I dont end up dragging a crap fish around ,it also helps seperate your rod line back a little bit from the downrigger line!!!PEACE

Also Cannon makes a snubber that is used alot in the northwest specificly made to for clipping onto downrigger balls or planers which you can connect to the Powepro this gives you something to grip easy rather than the cable or power pro when hauling and setting your ball or planer in and out of the boat!!!PEACE
